Optimizing the chance of conception is the goal.
I help those trying to conceive naturally, as well as those using IVF and other assisted reproductive technology (ART). Some have diagnosed issues, while others do not. Some have just begun trying to conceive, or are planning to, while others are many years into the conception journey. I listen and create a customized plan unique to each person, which includes acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine (if desired), and gentle counsel on supplements and nutrition.
Fertility optimization and reproductive health are my passions, and I’ve been helping patients conceive for more than twenty years. I value integrity and transparency, so I will not promise that our working together will result in a baby, even though I have witnessed that often. I do promise to bring my many years of experience as an acupuncturist and herbalist, specialized training in reproductive health, and my intention to help you have the pregnancy you desire to our work together.

Increases blood flow to the pelvis and uterus to support ovarian follicle development. Improves functioning of hypothalamic pituitary adrenocortical and ovarian axes, decreasing hormone levels that inhibit ovulation, and normalizing those that promote it.

Increases vascularization of endometrium, reduces uterine contractility and the possibility of embryo expulsion, and improves biomarkers of endometrium receptivity to blastocyst implantation.

“When I started working with Kristi, I had been told by my reproductive endocrinologist that I had a very low chance of being able to conceive using my own eggs.
I was in my late 30s and my hormonal profile indicated that I was heading straight into early menopause. Over the course of four months, working with Kristi weekly, I watched my period and ovulation become more regular and predictable and my luteal phase getting longer. At the end of those four months, I got pregnant!
My pregnancy proceeded without any troubles, as I continued to work with Kristi, and our healthy and beautiful son was born without any complications a day after his due date. When 18 months later we wanted to try for a second baby, it was natural to once again work with Kristi. At this point I was in my early 40s and I had not gotten my period back since I got pregnant, so I was very worried about my chances.
